Great Victoria Desert Council is led by an elected Mayor and nine Councillors who represent the interests of our community. Councillors are elected every four years and work together to make decisions on services, infrastructure, and community programs.

Mayor Patricia Henderson

Mayor Henderson has been a dedicated member of the Great Victoria Desert community for over 30 years. She brings extensive experience in community development, Indigenous relations, and regional planning. Her priorities include sustainable growth, community safety, and economic development.

Council Meeting Attendance
